потому что после стольких лет употребления кофе до меня наконец дошло, что у коробочки со сливками надо отрезать оба уголка, чтобы сливки выливались спокойно и равномерно, не разбрызгиваясь на третьем-четвёртом бульке.

I am feeling ingenious and stupid at the same time. So many years I have been spilling cream while pouring it into coffee if my reaction is slow and attention wandering somewhere when the cream carton begins to choke and spit. Today it dawned on me that I can cut off both ears of a carton and cream then will flow smoothly!
So many years of wiping spilled cream from table, arrgh...
