Что я видела в субботу

jazzziБыла в новом здании музея Изо на выставке французской живописи и скульптуры XIX века. Там интересное освещение, кажется что картины сами светятся в полумраке как лайтбоксы или экраны, никогда раньше не видела, чтобы краски живописи были такими свежими и насыщенными. Всё дело в хитро подвешенных узконаправленных светильниках.
Очень понравилась "Любительница чтения" Каррье-Беллёза. Освещение, выгодное для картин, добавляет скульптуре загадочности, пряча её лицо в тени. Так и хочется заглянуть через плечо и узнать, что за книгу она читает =)
Ещё на Плотинке наблюдала летающих синих сахарных драконов (полосы сахарной ваты, сбежавшие из чана) и оживший клочок газеты (очень крупную бело-серую бабочку).
On Saturday I went to see the new wing of Fine Arts museum, it currently has an exhibition of XIX century French art from Hermitage. The gallery was very dim and the paintings were spotlighted — that made colours vibrant and paintings themselves deeper somehow, like if they were drawn on many layers of glass. But the same light was not very favourable for taking picture of "The Reader" by Carrier-Belleuse. It took some tinkering in photo-editing app to make dark photos more viewable. On the other hand, the shadows made the figure more mysterious: is there a smile on her face? I am curious about what is she reading.
Also I've seen flight of blue sugary dragons (runaway cotton candy strips) and a large white-gray butterfly, that looked like a living piece of newspaper (I was not able to identify it).
