Мне никогда не хотелось что-то сказать своими фотографиями/рисунками. Обычно я просто не могу пройти мимо игры света или вычурных растительных форм. Но сейчас я хочу выразить то ощущение, которое уже давно со мной: эта земля проклята, и всё хорошее, что тут прорастает или гибнет, или превращается в свою противоположность.

It is unusual for me to express any message in my works. Normally I just reflect the beauty that is around: tender hues of sunset clouds, a game of light and shadow, intricate and fantastical shapes of common plants. But this one time I want to give voice to a feeling which has been with me for a half of my life: this land is cursed and nothing good takes root here.
